The New York Times aided the MAGA, anti-science FDA in its mission to undermine the public’s trust in life saving vaccines. Another example of editorial decisions undermining trust in the Grey Lady.
Wow! Thanks so much, Dan, for this thorough examination of the NY Times doing a great disservice to its readers and the public in general around our public health crises. Accountability, transparency, and honesty are becoming increasingly rare values in our media. Glad we have such excellent journalists and media critics, such as yourself, keeping a close eye on this.
One would think by their headlines that the Trump and his cruel band of anti-democracy, hate-filled policies and actions were normal. I cancelled NYT and WP for their complicity in Trump’s rise to power. Where are the headlines on their abuse of power, war crimes committed, deportations, failed illegal indictments and commanding death of his political foes, failure to release of the Epstein files, which he perpetuated hoping to out Clinton and other so-called liberals. If the NYT was reputable, they would have running daily headlines on Trump’s disgusting acts and statements. The newest is his calling “affordability” a Democratic hoax, which it is not. It’s an infuriating accommodation to the worst and most corrupt president and administration in the US history. They are destroying the concept of a free press. Shame on them
Hey, Megan! Did you take those funds you used to use for NYT and WaPo and subscribe or donate to a newsroom you think is doing a great, trustworthy job? Tell us about it!
"Dr. Paul Offit, a vaccine expert with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a critic of Mr. Kennedy’s vaccine policies, called the memo an example of science ‘by press release.’”
Haha. Paul is really funny. Haha. If I didn't know better I would think he was undemining the system from within. "Science ‘by press release". haha. You don't say. haha. "vaccine". haha.
Great catch and article. The headlines are a special mess these days.

Of course! Who's Dan? ;)
Sorry. Meant to say "Brian"
This is a great article - it makes some wonderful points
The "grey lady" is the age of the Lame Duck Felon - she needs to be turned into a well-read dancing 40 year old.
I had read the initial NY Times article and just assumed the 2nd version was the same thing!
Glad we could help you understand a little bit more about our information ecosystem!

Media outlets such as the NYT are complicit in Trump’s corrupt power. Their headlines muffle the facts. Why don’t the he’s
