Aug. 23, 2023: FCC granted MAD's request to open process to public comments

On August 23, 2023, the FCC issued public notice that it would grant MAD’s request to change the “restricted” status of the WTXF license-renewal process.

"We have concluded that classifying this proceeding as permit-but-disclose would, in this case, permit broader public participation and thereby serve the public interest," the FCC Media Bureau said in their Public Notice
